The Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce by-laws are reviewed periodically. A review and update of the by-laws was completed by a special committee in Winter 2025.  The revised by-laws were approved by the board of directors, and then accepted by the general membership on March 14, 2025.

Policies

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Because The OCCC is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that does not engage in any political activity, we do not allow any political signs, promotions, clothing, etc. to be visible in our Facebook Live videos or general social media posts.  Political pamphlets or literature of any kind is not allowed to be distributed at any chamber event.

Any political posts that are placed on our Facebook page by another party will be deleted and the individual be sent a private message with 1 warning explaining our policy.  If the individual posts again we will block them from access to our social media page.  No political entries are permitted in our Light Parade.  

We kindly request that individuals refrain from wearing any political garb or accessories at our events.
