Jamaican singer songwriter Clinton Fearon is one of the reggae pioneers from Jamaica. He started his professional journey in the late 60s with the mythic band The Gladiators, playing bass and singing with them for 18 years. In the early 90s, Fearon began a solo career in Seattle, WA, where he founded his own band. Since then, he released thirteen original albums and collaborated with artists like Alpha Blondy, Mike Love, The Movement, Emeterians and many more.
Clinton Fearon performed in major festivals in each continents, and regularly in the United States (Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Reggae On The River, National Folk Festival, Festival International de Louisiane, Houston International Festival, Salmonstock, Ithaca Reggae Festival, etc.), Canada (Latin Caribbean Festival, Victoria Ska Reggae Festival, World Beat Festival, etc.), Europe (WOMAD, Rototom Sunsplash, Garance Reggae Festival, Printemps de Bourges, Stimmen festival, Celtic Connectionetc.), Brazil (Virada Cultural, Republica Do Reggae, World Music Festival, Feira de Santana, etc.), Africa (Kenya and Ivory Coast), and more countries occasionally (Peru, Honduras, New Caledonia, Hong Kong, etc.).
His latest album “Breaking News” is released June 3rd 2022 and supported by tours in Europe and USA.

The Naya Rockers are a backing band, anchored by US-based drummer Nathan Sabanayagam, Bassist Nate Edgar and keyboardist Cameron Greenlee. This musical collaboration has been evolving for the past 20 years and they are complemented by an international pool of singers and musicians. The band is also heavily involved in music production and works in tandem with the Naya Records independent record label. There have been collaborations in the works with all the artists on this tour with releases slated for early 2022.
This team is dedicated to bringing the highest level of musicianship and stage show, together and individually the Naya Rockers have spent the past two decades touring and recording with the foundation of reggae including: , The Skatalites, Stephen Marley, John Brown’s Body, Kiddus I, Barrington Levy, Bushman, Earl Chinna Smith, Ernie Smith, Big Youth, Junior Reid, The Congos, Johnny Clarke, Ken Boothe, Mikey General, Tinga Stewart, The Toasters. And in addition to the foundation artist, the Rockers have also bakced next generation including: Kenyatta Hill, Asadenaki Livingston, Blakkamoore, Addis Pablo, Iba Mhar, Hector Lewis and Jah’Mila Smith.

Band portfolios—
All the veterans have lengthy and impressive portfolios, the most notable that of Ken Stewart who has spent over 20 years as keyboardist and manager of the world famous SKATALITES, doing numerous recordings . Dion Knibb, guest vocalist, son of the late legendary drummer Lloyd Knibb, has recorded in Ja with the Fab 5 and has toured the US with the SKATALITES. Thom O’Brien , singer/songwriter of the group has penned over 100 songs. Mark Berney also spent 3 years touring and recording with the SKATALITES. He also plays coronet for the Klezmer Conservatory Band and has performed with Izak Perlman and Aretha Franklin and is a regular with the 10 Ft. Ganga Plant Band.
Band History—
The band was formed in 2003, playing clubs and festivals around New England and the New York area. We recorded our first album, THE ECHOBASS SESSONS in 2005, recorded live to ¼ inch tape! In 2010 we released our second album, SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD,consisting of nine originals and 5 cover tunes, five composed by Thom O’Brien.
In 2008 Soulshot was invited to perform on the small stage at the Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay, Ja. and so impressed the management that they were called back in 2009 to perform on the MAIN STAGE along side the likes of Lionel Ritchie, The O’Jays, Chicago, Maxi Priest and many more! While in Ja in 2008 Soulshot also appeared at the Black Mystery Concert in Kingston and at several other venues about the country.
Soulshot has been the backing band for Jamacian legend Ernie Smith on many occasions and has also backed the legendary Alton Ellis at the Rhode Island Reggae Festival, (Alton put a video from this performance on his website before he passed), Roger Robin from the UK, Doreen Shaffer, queen of Ska, and touring vocalist with the Skatalites, and Dalton “Screwdriver” Lindo on several occasions.
