Are you a small business owner or human resources professional looking to ensure your workplace is compliant with the laws enforced by the EEOC? Are you looking for tools to prevent harassment, discrimination, and retaliation?
Join the U.S. Small Business Administration Rhode Island District Office and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to discuss workplace discrimination laws and how small businesses can stay compliant. The (EEOC) is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, transgender status, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.
