For over 160 years, the Westerly Band has been entertaining local and not so local audiences with its varied musical talents. As a rare adult marching and concert band composed of over 30 people ranging in age from teens to 90s, the Westerly Band marches at a variety of cultural and religious processions and festivals and civic parades. It also performs a number of yearly concerts and additional special ones. These concerts feature a wide selection of pieces from old time classics to current musical/movie themes to blues and jazz. And of course, marches. Several years ago, the Westerly Band performed for a concert to rededicate its renovated bandstand in Wilcox Park and was able to play some of the same music from the bandstand's original dedication and first concert in 1902. Our annual Children's concert in June is an favorite for all ages!

Garden Market Fair Concert, Children's Concert, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Concert, Mystic River Concert, Shelter Harbor Concert, Wilcox Park Concert, Christmas Concert
Parades: Westerly Memorial Fireman's Parade, Westerly/Pawcatuck Memorial Day Parade, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Procession, Blessing of the Fleet Procession, Holy Ghost Festival, Columbus Day Parade, Veterans Day Parade .
Admission to most concerts and parades is free!
